About the Artist

Angie is a contemporary artist and art educator living, creating, and teaching in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her medium of choice is Ceramics. In her current season of making she has been taking inspiration from the natural world, especially the woods. She explores the tiny worlds and textures that exist in the forest when you simply look a little closer, and notice. Small moments deserve attention too.

She graduated from Edinboro University in 2019 with a degree in Art Education with a focus in Ceramics. She now teaches ceramics and sculpture at the high school level while also pursuing her own artistic ideas both alongside her students and at her home studio.
